1. where are you from? 你來自**？
where do you come from? 你來自**？
be from, come from這兩個短語均表示「來自某地，是某地人」
e.g. where is he from? 他來自**？
some of my classmates are from australia. 我的一些同學來自澳大利亞。
is she from japan? 她是日本人嗎？
2. how do you like …? 你覺得…怎麼樣？
該句型動詞like後可接表示人或物的詞作賓語，意為「你覺得某人或某物怎麼樣？」，表示詢問對某人或某物的看法、印象，相當於what do you think of …?
e.g. –how do you like andy? 你覺得安迪這個人怎麼樣？
--i don』t think he is a good student. 我覺得他不是個好學生。
--how do you like your new house? 你覺得新居怎麼樣？
--i like it very much. 我非常喜歡。
3. 表示頻率的時間副詞：usually（通常，常常），always（總是），often（經常），sometimes（有時）等，在句子中常位於be動詞或助動詞和實義動詞之間。
e.g. he often takes his dog to the park. 他經常帶狗去公園。
she usually goes to school on foot. 她通常步行去學校。
i sometimes go shopping with betty. 有時我和貝迪去逛街。
they are always late for class. 他們上課總是遲到。
4. --what does he/ she do? 他/她是做什麼的？
--he/ she is a doctor. 他/她是一名醫生。
該句型是針對某人的職業或身份詢問的，表示「……是幹什麼的？」，相當於what is he/ she? what is his/ her job?
